Rich is going to give up Havoc by Friday if he doesn't aquire two more drivers. I mean people that will help find cars/parts, and build them.

Before you say, "Rich Wilson is is a crook", or "Fu@k Rich" think about this;

-There is no one else that wants a team. Can you think of anyone?

-There is seemingly no one else that wants to get into, or get back into the sport bad enough showing up.

-We lost one of the sports biggest assets, Ron Tyrakowski last year over some B.S. I miss having him and Orange Crush out there. Deep down, so do most of you.

-Loco's fell by the wayside back in 2004.

-What is Q-ball going to bring to the table?

-What is Johnny Millette going to be able to pull off? I hope that he makes a decent showing from May through September too. Will they pull it off?

-We've lost many veteren drivers over the last 5 years.

-This is the 10 year aniversery of team demos at Rt66. Does that mean anything to anyone?


Rich (I hear) is even willing to pay out a quarter of the payout (gaurenteed) to a driver that is worth a fu@k.

If you want to compete, don't screw around. Just tell him that you want nothing less then that, and you'll race.

He may be getting some help from the Vanallen brothers that didn't go back to Stranglehold. Rich doesn't think that will pan-out, but he's hopefull.

Like him or hate him, we need Rich to show up with his team. The only way that we can avoid having to decide which team get's the first round "bye" every night, or how to figure out how to handle a "one team short" situation is to send someone Rich's way. And it is up to Rich to figure out how to keep some guys on the team.

if i only new for sure who we had on or team i no at least 3, i would like to have 5 or6 and on certin nights we could send the one that was not racing that certin night build to race there like we did last year i don`t no maybe see are draw a name and the one that sit out can still race every night i don`t no if it don`t work out there maybe he can race here if he wanted too

From what I read on this site daily it appears as if teams are having a hard time finding drivers and builders. I also can tell it is a pretty tight knit group to get into. BUT, why do you not try to hit the DDDA web site and look for drivers and builders their? I know that they build and race the old fair style cars, but there are some pretty good drivers out there. I think why they have not stepped forward is due tot he fact they just do not understand what is required. What do they get out of it, besides racing of course, etc. Heck even Kahuna raced fair style demos before. In fact I raced against him at DuPage years ago. Now look at him, he is one of the best runners out there. Anyways I would look to those guys. I would bet with the right type of posting you might find a few interested parties. I would attach a link to the clips from the TV episodes so they can see what they are in for.

Anyways just a thought from a concerned fan who grew up watching TEAM DEMOS and would hate to see them end.

i have read the bs i have watched you guys play games i have been a part of it and i cant stand it but i want rich to race this year. he is not coming back next.....

so yes he can be an ass and yes he isn't always fair and yes he is hard to talk to - but if you can be a man and not play games he will respect you - and he will help you.

Johnny - thank you i am not sure if it's legite but you really seem to care... maybe it's personal because it effects what happens on the track - or maybe you just know who ricky is deep down.... and you know what this means to him.

Heidi, I've known Rich since about 1990. He started with my family in demos. I raced my asss-off with him in 07. I'm sincerely trying to help him. I guess that the best that I could do right now is bring it to everyone's attention. Sorry if I wasn't sincere enough in my first post, but I mean what I said.

I'd hate to see a year without Havoc. I was bummed about a year without crush in 08. I'm still pretty sad about the end of the Loco's.

I'm pretty sure that Rich is bummed. I could hear it in his voice. He would be depressed if he misses out on the action for sure. And I don't think that racing for someone else under different colors would do it justice for him.

you are right johnny rich always had a tuff team too, lots of 2nd place finishes for the championship just good car building and your right about the other teams that are no longer locos and crush we don`t need havoc to leave now i hope it all works out

The drivers add -IS- on WeCrash, but j/h and #34 maybe should write Tony Shuttle and explain its a "legit" actual add. He just may eliminate it as in the past. I posted it in the "general" section where it will get the most attention. Plz let Tony know to leave it there and NOT move to some incorrorect obscure, section where no one will ever see it !

We can and will fix this situation.


I also think if Jan G would have stuck with spectator races of the past TDA years, this situation would have NEVER happened. The "fresh blood" NEW drivers/crew with new leads to talent/vehicles would have kept pouring in ! Sometimes seeing the bigger picture of the sports future is much more imp than the $$$ cash cow.

UPDATE: WeCrash staff aleady moved the original add to the "promotor"
section where few demos eyes will view it. I posted it again in the "general" and within seconds it was deleted completely.

The only problem wit YOU making that ad MOPAR is that Tory and Russ Shutte are sick of your antics on wecrash.com. People are chimming in about how you hijack threads trying to turn them away from the intended agenda.

If anyone here has an account on wecrash, please go on and try to add a little credibility to the ad to help Rich out.

MOPAR, I read your post history. If you go on a person's profile on wecrash, you can view their history on the forum. You have kind of tried to "hijack" some threads, or have posted something totally unrelated to the subject of the thread.

Let's face it, it's a more diverse audience that reads your posts on there. Tory Shutte has put a red flag on your account because of some incidents that you've had on wecrash in the past. Again, just look down through your post history and you'll see.

One thing is for sure. Everybody on both of these forums understands that you are a HUGE fan of team demos, and demos in general.

I DO know that your intentions are earnest concerning Rich and the future of team demos. I'm sorry that a few of those guys weren't taking you serious. But, it seems to be guys that you've irratated in the past that are making those comments.

Hopefully the word will get to some event promoters from different derbys and they'll put some of their guys in. It'll only take one or two guys to rejuvinate a team.
