First off let me start by saying holy **** that race was fun. It was great to race against the old santa fe vets like Wally Hartung, Greg Mesich And Johny Klemek. This was one of the funnest races i was ever in. Now that being said i have Many people telling me that i actually won the race. According to everyone they say i passed Booger in the first lap. The video i have looks the same way as well. Does any body have any other video or see how it went down.

How they kept track of true scoring or what the hell was even
considered a correct "full' lap with that tire set up is a Rt66
mystery.

I dont understand how and why the track was confusing. The tires were marked where the intersection was. I didnt have a problem seeing it all.

Im pretty sure that even if Booger would of crashed out they still would of given it to him. Jan and his crazy wife love that guy and will do whatever they can to kiss his ass...It didnt seem like anyone else had a shot at winning once the first lap or two were over and they said he was in the lead.

Im glad someone else sees it that way also. Looks like i wont be putting my truck together for the next show. Whats the point? Boogers in charge of it and races it, gee i wonder who will win????

Number 27, green car, black roof, yellow flag on top. Theresa says that i was spun out and got passed but that never happened. If it did i would never say that i won the race. I think they are thinking of the green caddy i think it was #1? That car was definately spun out for a while.

Did everyone notice the famous #64 1972 boat tail Rivera.
Im sure some will recall this as the "MEAN GREEN"
beauty car from the last two 2OO9 events.
It "had" a well painted wht/blk skull artwork over the green
paint and all the $$$ chrome trim was unpainted on her.

So, that was the MGM beauty car? interesting. I wonder if it will be returned to service as such. Notice, there were no oldies in 1's pits this time?!?!

Here's another tidbit. That green #1 Caddy that, I think Lorna Millette was driving, looks remarkably like last years Beyond Driven beauty car with the crushed right rear quarter panel... I'm sure Greg can confirm or deny this.

MOPAR just because you need to hide and sneak around in the pit doesn't mean everyone does.

Alright, tapes reviewed. First of all, what happened to running 15 laps? did they cut it short to 10 after the long delay and letting you all run out of gas just idling? If it was 15 laps I bet you would've got him.

Tapes show Bogger wins by about a 1/4 lap. The only thing they don't show is if he missed a turning tire anywhere. Your car, nor his, can be seen making 40 legal turns.

We went to 10 laps because at first cheeseburger wanted us to go 20. I told him 20 was to many, he then said maybe 15 would have been better. I really wish i had those extra 5 laps with booger.


Any of you guys should have stopped by and said hello, including you, mopar. We could have given each other high 5's. it would have been great.
