i just could not beleive it when i heard the news yesterday i watched him grow into one of the best demo drivers/ stock car drivers i have ever seen and now he is gone it seems like a bad dream " i remember years ago mid 80s when me and johnny were racing alot of stock cars and fig 8 races at santa fe steven told me that me and johnny were 2 of his fav. drivers out there and alway went for us but its funny because when he got his racing going he was one of my fav.drivers he had a god given talent to race no matter what it was in a stock car or fig 8 s or demos he was a winner i will never forget this past season when we won the first night i was standing right next to him and j t when we won he was so exc. for me, us the team he gave me a hug and high 5 and said lets go out there on the track your team just won i will always remeber him" i always looked forward to seeing him and art at the track every year to talk to he was like a good freind like a brother i am sure him and jr have a lot of storys to catch up on

there were great crushers" and there were great runners" but he was both he could do it all " he had the abilty to bring any team he was on to a higher leval i remeber last time i talked to him he was on team 8 said they could go far and they kinda of looked up to him he helped out and got there cars dieled in him and craig it sounded like he liked helping the new generation drivers learn the right way i no he was a big part of the killbillies thing he had faith in levi and kyle and new chris was already proven i wish they would have came back this past season they would have done great, if there still is a hall of fame for demos he should be in it

The video on Facebook cannot be embedded anywhere else, unfortunately. I cannot put it on the TeamDemo.com site and am hesitant to use YouTube as well due to the copyright infringement of the three songs. That is also why it cannot go on the last DVD, but I'm working on something else for that.

There's no guarantee it won't get removed from Facebook either, but right now that's the safest place for it.

shame, cause the music works perfect with the editing.

jason dont release the video. we are in the works of having a fund raiser or some kind of benefit and all the earnings will go into a trust fund for junior so when he turns 18 he has something to fall back on. the video was one of the things we would like to put together and hand out to people. and maybe get some shirts made up also. any ideas would be well appreciated

thats a great idea joe steven had a hell of alot of people that loved and respected him on and off the track steve jr. is a great kid that loved his dad when they came down to the yard together little steven had a glow about him because he was with his dad and new his dad was racing i no if they sold copys of that tribute dvd they would go in aheatbeat jason did a great job on it from parts ware steven jr was holding the trophys his dad won for him and lots of other great race stuff to the end part ware joe got out of his car to shake hands with steven and johnny sitting on top of his car and shaking hands with steven and giving steven a freindly push

JT let me know my dad would like to help hes been building models and would do a couple of Steven's for the benefit(ask joe snow how he likes his)he already built one to give to little Steven.
       
       

get the building cause i can tell you i want one myself. but seriously will have to get some sponsors and such to donate to buy the cars if your willing to put the time into them. with winter pretty much already here its kinda hard to plan any out side party. people mention down by my shop but not to practical with parking and one porta potty and such. either a forest presserve but what i think would be cool is why not at the track. we should talk to someone who has power at the track. any ideas??????

another thing i wanted to mention someone had something on facebook about hitter of the year. steven and nick are favored by one guy and some free for all guy is favored by the other guy. the free for all guy sent in a compilation of his hits that if you ask me are gay as hell. i am asking you jason twite or whoever has the power to enter in the video that played at the funeral.

AS some of you who have read my post know, I am just a fan of team demos. I have been reading this post for the last week now, but I have not read anywhere how he died? I am curious. If it too personal, I understand, but the TDA lost one great driver. He will be missed.
