As far as the Fe and 66 schedule comparison, I think about that despairity quite a bit

little did we know, ... those were the days

i remeber those long seasons close to 40 nights of racing i remeber winning two of the gatoraide nights and almost won a third but got a flat tire on the last lap and d q out of one that i won lead like 22 of 25 laps" i had rusted qtr. panels and dirt clay got up in the trunk area said it was added weight and took the win away witch realy sucked and i won the true value nights too " forgot the years but they would give cases of pepsi to the winners true value nights were ok i thing a socket set and a hat they would give to the winner, gatoraide was better longer race 25 laps they gave a cooler beach towel a patch and hat and $200.00 cash to the big $35 dollor pay outs santa fe paid each race night if i remeber right it was $35 for the win or the trophy but it was fun just racing there

Actually pointing that out to all the big-headed participants with a mere 3 years of Rt 66 experience that think that they know everything, and claim that they invented everything. Not talking about you, Jr....

on those demo nights that parking lot was jam packed" and outside down the street for blocks" down 91st. it was a fans fav. and still todays a hit with the fans people love to make a day of it tailgating and beer drinking and bag throwing and when the sun goses down the action on the track starts" ...... good stuff
